Important - Change in Training Venue!

For the next couple of weeks, we will be moving our training to a new venue. Previously, we've had our Monday & Thursday night classes and Sunday morning classes in the Martial Arts Hall.

We will be in Squash Courts 12 & 13 on the following dates:

  • Thurs 16 March
  • Sun 19 March
  • Mon 20 March
  • Thurs 23 March
  • Sun 26 March
  • Mon 27 March
  • Thurs 30 March

Monash Sport has yet to confirm availability of the Squash Courts from April onwards. Once Monash Sport confirms this, I will update the blog to let you know.

These Squash Courts have been renovated to include a permanent boxing ring, punching bags, speedballs, floor-to-ceiling balls, new mirrors and are fully matted.

To find the Squash Courts, turn right when you first enter the Sports & Rec building and walk towards the basketball courts. Turn right at the Common Room and at the end of the corridor, you'll see the doors for several Squash Courts. Turn left to find Squash Courts 12 and 13.

These two Squash Courts will be renamed in a couple of months to "Boxing Studio" or something similar.

Our Training Times remain the same for now, but will change over the next few weeks. So please keep checking this blog so you can be informed of the change in Training Times.

These are our current Training Times:

Monday

  • 6:30pm - 7:45pm: Beginners
  • 7:45pm - 9pm: Intermediate & above

Thursday

  • 7pm - 8:30pm: All Levels

Note: All Members can attend both Beginners and Intermediate classes, but the focus of each class will be different. For example, in the Beginners class, the focus will be on the beginners and in the Intermediate class, the focus will be on the senior students.
