NAS State Championships - Results

Matthew Gillet, Marianna Tassakos and Eli Yarrow represented the Monash University Kickboxing Club at the NAS State Titles on Sun 16 October at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.

All three of them have improved greatly throughout the year, especially Eli, who has been training particularly hard and doing extra work during the Sunday morning classes with Senior Instructor Robert Halaijian. Eli achieved 3rd place in the Male Novice Continuous Sparring, which is a fantastic improvement from the last tournament.

Both Marianna and Matt did well to place 4th in their divisions, and all three have qualified for the NAS National Championships, which will be held on the Gold Coast on 26th and 27th November.
