Kickboxing Club Movie Night - Ong Bak

The Kickboxing Club will be holding a Movie Night as a relaxed, social event where New Members can meet each other and make new friends.

The movie we're planning to see is Ong Bak, a Martial Arts flick with a Muay Thai theme, which is a perfect for Kickboxers like yourselves.

So please try to refrain from going out and watching the movie right now, as we're in the process of organising a time and venue for the Movie Night.

We'll let you know as soon the details are confirmed.

Student Survival Week - Wed 23 March

The Kickboxing Club will have a Stall at Student Survival Week (SSW) on Wednesday 23 March from 11am - 3pm on the lawn outside the Martial Arts Hall.

People who sign up on the day will go into the draw to win gym memberships (raffle provided by SSW).

All Kickboxing Club Members are encouraged to come down to the Kickboxing Club Stall on Wed 23 March if they get a chance. You can help the Committee Members out at the Stall, talking to prospective members, telling them about our classes and upcoming social events, answering any questions they might have, or signing up new members.

Any help will be appreciated!

Kickboxing Club BBQ - Tues 22 March

The Kickboxing Club will be putting on a BBQ for Club Members and friends on Tuesday 22 March from 12pm - 2pm between the Menzies building and Campus Centre.

Rock up to the BBQ wearing your Kickboxing Club T-Shirt or Singlet, and you'll get FREE sausages and drinks. The idea is for Members to promote the Kickboxing Club on campus for a day.

Otherwise, it's $1 for sausage & bread, and $1 for drinks. The aim here is to cover costs, but any profits will go towards buying new equipment for you guys.

So be sure to bring all your friends along!
