Ajarn Chai Sirisute Muay Thai Seminar

Ajarn (Master) Chai Sirisute is our Muay Thai Master. He is one of the most highly sought-after Muay Thai Masters in the world, and teaches Muay Thai out of the Inosanto Academy in the U.S. Ajarn Chai travels to Australia each year to spread the art of Muay Thai.

This is a great opportunity to train with a genuine Muay Thai master "in your backyard", without having to travel to Thailand.

This Seminar is highly recommended to all Kickboxing Club students who are serious about their training!

  • Venue: Norris Bank Primary School, Settlement Rd, Bundoora
  • Date: Mon 13 March 2006 (Labour Day Public Holiday)
  • Time: 5pm - 8pm (get there by 4:30pm to register and start warming up)
  • Cost: $35
  • Dress: Full Uniform
  • Bring: Your gloves & shin pads (Kacey will bring the Club Muay Thai pads and focus mitts)

If you haven't already made payment, you can do so at this Sunday's class (10am - 12pm in the Seminar Room - not Martial Arts Hall this weekend, as Commonwealth Games Teams are using the Martial Arts Hall).

Alternatively, make payment to Kacey Chong on Monday 13 March before the seminar and get your name ticked off the Kickboxing Club list. Make sure your name is spelt correctly on the Club list, as this will be submitted to the Seminar Organiser for Seminar Certificates that will be given out to you at the end of the seminar.

If you're new to the Kickboxing Club and don't have a full uniform yet, come to the Sunday morning class this Sunday to purchase your uniform.

Non-members are welcome to participate in the seminar as part of the Kickboxing Club group, so if you have any friends who may be interested in going to Ajarn Chai's seminar, let me know.

There are many senior students and instructors who are attending this seminar, and a large group of whom are travelling to Melbourne from interstate, just to train with Ajarn Chai. If these experienced martial artists who have been participating in Ajarn Chai's seminar for many years - year after year - and are still learning and benefitting from training with Ajarn Chai, I'm sure the rest of us will too.
