Kickboxing Club Social Night
The Kickboxing Club Social Night, held on Friday 14 July, at the Sidetracked amusement centre was a great success. Everyone enjoyed a light meal prepared by Soulveg, followed by billards where Max really showed off his pool-shark skills.
When the time came for the laser tag, the excitement had really built up and everyone was ready for action. Because there was a good sized group of people, there was always someone behind every corner, especially Eleanor who found a variety of interesting hiding places. The adrenaline packed match left everyone gasping for breath when it was over, with Yahvinah emerging as the Laser Tag master.
The group then moved on to a light game of team mini golf, to cool off after such an action packed game of Laser tag, which proved to be a surprisingly fun activity, and full of laughs. Michelle, topped the charts for her group, just managing to beat Thomas who had put up a good fight; and Albert proved to be the "Tiger Woods" of his group with his patented reverse shot.
Finally, we wound up the night with a variety of games and an air hockey grudge match, after which we were thrown out because the venue was closing. All in all it was a fantastic outing, and there was never a dull moment.
A big thanks to everyone who came along, and we hope to have even more members at future events.
