Kickboxing Exhibition Fight Night Results

The Monash University Kickboxing Club held its 3rd Annual Kickboxing Exhibition Fight Night on Friday 23 September at the Martial Arts Hall, Sports & Rec Centre, Monash Uni, Clayton.

Our Members were matched against each other in Amateur Light-Contact, Semi-Contact or Full-Contact Kickboxing Bouts.

All the Fighters demonstrated good form and good control. Many of them were matched against an opponent who was much taller and/or heavier than them, and showed great fighting spirit and mental strength in taking on an opponent with a significant reach and weight advantage.

Thank you to all the spectators who came along to support the Fight Night and all our Fighters.

It was a great night, and our Fighters learnt what it was like to fight under pressure. Everyone had at least 2 fights on the night, and some had 3 or 4 fights. This gave them the opportunity to spar with a variety of opponents, and also test their level of fitness.

I hope we can continue to put on Fight Nights like this in future years, as it serves as an excellent platform for those who wish to develop their competitive side and work on their psychological attributes, as well as physical skill.
