NAS Round 3 Results

Jacob Chylinski, Marianna Tassakos, and Bryan Wicaksono represented the Monash University Kickboxing Club at NAS Round 3 on Sun 24 July.

They demonstrated good form and great sportsmanship at all times, and represented the Kickboxing Club well. Thanks to all the Members who came down to support our competitors with all their loud cheering!

While Bryan didn't place in this divisions, he certainly demonstrated his range and fluidity, as well as excellent technical ability. At just 17 years of age, he has shown the potential to achieve a lot in the Martial Arts.

Jacob's competitive nature came out in the ring, and he did very well to come 4th in the Male Novice Point Sparring at his first competition, and placed 2nd in the Continuous Sparring as well.

Marianna took out both her divisions, placing first in the Female Novice Point Sparring and the Continuous Sparring - all this at her first tournament too.

Overall, it was a great day of competition, and these guys gained valuable experience that will serve them in their Martial Arts training.
